I have spent lonely and wasteful nights doing absolutely nothing. I always had a mind that, "in order to succeed I would need to obtain some sort of degree". One night I spoke with my friend and she had given me words of wisdom. She motivated me to keep working hard and pushing forth. She told me that I could do anything once I put my mind to it.
I always wanted to be a web developers ever since I was little. I notice on social media, everyone was grasping on mobile app design. I too, wanted to try because it had seemed interesting. Mind you, I knew nothing about mobile game design and I knew it would be quite difficult. I did not care because I was just too busy thinking about the money I would make. I then decided to research about mobile game design/app making and how I would go about doing this.
After 1 month of research, I had watched many tutorials, read many articles, books, and forums about mobile app developing. I was ready to start my next step and that was creating my first mobile app game. It took me days upon days and nights upon nights trying to learn every code. I felt like giving up but I did not let this stop me. I pushed myself to learn coding and after 4 months, I had built my own mobile app game with not much knowledge and no sort of degree. I launched it onto the Google Play Store where it had about 500 downloads but then something happened..
I noticed the amount of money,help, and connections I would need to continue this any further. I had used campaigns, wasted money on ads, other sorts of advertisements; tried social media, forums, and yet all my hard work started to drain.. I felt like a complete failure. The game had started to slow down in downloads. I thought I was on the rise to millions. But I thought wrong.
I then realized I was moving a bit to fast and needed to slow down. Money does not just appear in a quick second. I had stopped advertising and the game became at a complete pause. I knew this would not work out..
